Museum of Love is the debut single from British indie label Damelyn Records and the forthcoming Saul Damelyn album Kings, Queens and Dream Machines. An upbeat yet reflective duet, the song explores memory, connection, and the quiet archaeology of long relationships—what endures, what fades, and what still resonates over time. All through the metaphor of a museum.
Co-led vocally by Saul Damelyn and Phoebe White, and produced by guitarist Paul A. Harvey (Prefab Sprout, Tom Robinson), the track unfolds as a conversational dialogue between two people wandering through the exhibits of their shared past. Catchy, clever, and emotionally lived-in, it captures love as something continually rediscovered.
Blending English lyrical new wave with classic rock songwriting and warm Americana storytelling, Museum of Love draws on influences including Elvis Costello, The Kinks, David Bowie, Paul Weller, Richard Thompson, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, and Gram Parsons.
The result is timeless rather than retro—intimate, melodic, and quietly affecting.
Produced by: Paul A. Harvey (Prefab Sprout, Tom Robinson)
Vocals: Saul Damelyn & Phoebe White
Drums: Marc Parnell
Instrumentation: Paul A. Harvey
Museum Of Love - Lyric Music Video Premiere
A lyric-driven music video set inside an imagined Museum of Love, the visuals follow Saul Damelyn’s graphic, with glimpses of Phoebe White fading in and out. This is a dreamlike world where people wander through galleries and corridors, getting lost in love and unexpectedly finding themselves along the way. As the lyrics unfold, figures move past art, symbols, and intimate moments suspended like exhibits, each room reflecting a different emotion—desire, longing, curiosity, devotion. The museum becomes both a physical space and a metaphorical labyrinth, where love is curated, questioned, and ultimately experienced as something transformative rather than contained.
Video Concept & Animation: Vanessa Brassey- Born and raised in London, Vanessa Brassey worked in commercial branding and lectured in philosophy before retraining as a painter at the age of 50. Brassey, is an award-winning artist (BCA Art Prize 2024 ‘Pool Chic’ and Women in Art Prize 2023 ‘Early Morning Swim’) and is celebrated for her evocative paintings featuring swimmers, landscapes, and portraits.
About Saul Damelyn
The name Saul Damelyn carries deep personal meaning— “Saul” honors a son he would have had two decades ago, who passed before birth due to heart defects. Through these songs, that spirit lives on. Damelyn is also the proud father of two daughters, both accomplished musicians.
